January 19, 2020 - 8th Place Finish in Wild West Shootout Finale at Arizona Speedway
After sitting out Wednesday night’s program, Brian Birkhofer returned to FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) on Friday evening for the final three rounds of the 14th annual Wild West Shootout. Grabbing the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race, Birkhofer locked into the 15th-starting position for the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Brian got collected with another competitor on lap 25 that prevented him from finishing.

For the final round of the Wild West Shootout on Sunday, Birkhofer edged his way into the $15,000-to-win finale with a 4th place finish in his heat. Rolling off 15th, Brian Birkhofer gained seven spots in the 50-lapper to place 8th.

He also earned the $1,000 Premier Waste Services Shock the Clock Challenge for the fastest time overall set on January 12th.

January 12, 2020 - Brian Birkhofer Lands Top 5 Finish in Second Round of Wild West Shootout
Saturday night saw Brian Birkhofer kick off his 2020 season at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) piloting the Rauen Racing No. 15B Late Model entry for the 14th annual Wild West Shootout. In a field of 46 cars, Birkhofer followed up the fastest lap in his time trial group with a heat race victory. Receiving the pole position for the A-Main via the redraw, Brian suffered a flat right-rear tire on lap 32 that dropped him back to a 17th place outing.

January 5, 2020 - Rauen Attends Battle at the Border in Vado to Open 2020 Season
Jason Rauen kicked off the 2020 season on Friday night at Vado Speedway Park (Vado, New Mexico) with the inaugural Battle at the Border. Drawing 42 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries for the three-day event, Rauen recorded an 8th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,000-to-win opening night feature. Needing to place in the Top-3, Jason logged a 9th place outing.

For the final round of the Battle at the Border on Sunday, Rauen followed up the sixth fastest lap in his time trial group with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Brandon Sheppard. Starting the $15,000-to-win finale in sixth, Jason suffered extensive body damage on the third lap that forced him to retire early.
