July 28, 2020 - Rauen attends World of Outlaws show at Davenport Speedway
1 Tuesday night saw Jason Rauen return to action at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series sanctioned program. Drawing 29 cars for the second series visit of the season at the quarter-mile oval, Rauen came one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish. Posting a second place spot in his B-Main behind Matthew Furman, Jason locked into the 18th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. July 22, 2020 - Jason Rauen bags first win of the season at Fayette County Speedway

Rauen drove his Arnie Ranta Motorsports No. 98 Rauen Precision Machining/ Capital Race Car/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to the win on Wednesday at Fayette County Speedway's inaugural Late Model Showdown in West Union, Iowa.

“It was great to get our first win of the season,” Rauen said. “It was a great night top to bottom. Thanks to my crew for their hard work and all of our great sponsors for their continued support. I’m looking forward to Davenport Speedway this week.”

Jumping up two spots in his 8-lap heat race, Rauen posted a second-place finish behind Darin Duffy, which positioned him fourth on the starting grid for the main event.

Blasting ahead of Curt Martin for the lead on the sixth lap, Jason led the remaining distance of the 35-lapper to capture his first win of the season and the $4,000 payday. Darren Ackerman, Curt Martin, Jeff Aikey, and Darin Duffy trailed him to the checkers.

July 13, 2020 - Truck Country 50 brings Birkhofer to 300 Raceway to compete with LOLMDS
1Monday night saw Brian Birkhofer make the short trip to 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Truck Country 50. In a field of 27 cars, Brian posted a fourth place finish in his heat, which positioned him 11th on the starting grid for the main event. July 11, 2020 - Rauen attends World of Outlaws doubleheader in Badger State
1Jason Rauen made the trek to Outagamie Speedway (Seymour, Wis.) on Friday night debuting in a brand new Capital Race Car for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series sanctioned opener. Drawing 33 cars, Rauen followed up the second fastest time in his group with a 10-lap heat race victory. Receiving the fourth-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main via the redraw, Jason overtook Ashton Winger for the lead on fifth lap until Winger wrested it back nine laps later on lap 14. On Saturday afternoon at Plymouth Dirt Track (Plymouth, Wis.), Jason grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race, which positioned him 14th on the starting grid for the finale. With $10,000 on the line, Rauen ran into suspensions issues on lap 29 that forced him to retire early.

July 4, 2020 - Brian Birkhofer scores podium finish in Slocum 50 at 34 Raceway
1Brian Birkhofer was one of 35 Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) entries on hand at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) on Friday night for the 12th annual Slocum 50. After topping the speed charts in time trials, Birkhofer cruised to a 10-lap heat race victory, which positioned him on the pole for the $10,555-to-win A-Main. Dropping two spots in the 50-lap affair, Brian notched a third place finish behind Bobby Pierce and Shannon Babb with Jeremiah Hurst and Chris Simpson rounding out the Top-5. (Lloyd Collins photo)

The following night saw teammate Jason Rauen enter the Independence Day Shootout at 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa). In a field of 22 MLRA entries, Rauen was one of three cars that pulled off early from his heat. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in 16th, Jason withdrew from the 40-lapper on lap 18.
