 On Thursday afternoon, Jason Rauen made the trek to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wis.) to take part in the 34th annual USA Nationals weekend. Drawing 49 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Rauen came two spots short of a transfer position into the preliminary feature with a sixth-place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. After Mother Nature shifted the event to Friday afternoon, Jason was a scratch from the 10-lapper.
 Later Friday evening for a pair of heat races, Jason recorded a pair of 10th-place finishes in his heat, positioning him 48th overall in passing points.
Stated to start on the tail of his B-Main on Saturday for one final shot at $50,000-to-win USA Nationals, Rauen was a scratch from the 15-lapper.
